Dracula by Anne Yvonne Gilbert
(via banshee-bones)
THIS. BOOK.
Is pretty amazing. One of the best reads I’ve had all year. It’s been on the NY Times Best Seller List for 56 weeks now, and I just finished it today. It was great, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s a fan of dark fantasy and mysteries.
However, when I finished reading it, I couldn’t help but feel as though it were “unfinished.” The author left the book hanging at the start of what seemed like a new adventure. This being a fairly new book, I assumed a sequel must be planned, so I checked the wiki article for any news about a new book.
And OH MY GOD.
TIM BURTON IS MAKING A FILM ADAPTATION.
No news for a sequel yet, BUT HOW FUCKING AMAZING IS THAT?!
Actually there is going to be a second book, Ransom Riggs said so on his blog.
Photo albums. Red seems to be a theme :-) {Annica’s Books}
Some of my work of the last few weeks. I have been photographing and listing all of it the past week. Still not completely done though, there are still some coptic books I need to list! But it’s great to see all of my ‘stuff’ in the shop :-)

A new edition is coming out - the first US hardcover edition in 14 years. It will have three new illustrations by Charles Vess in it. He’s doing them now.
It will not look new.
